Path of Homeo is operated by Octascaler Innovations (www.octascaler.com). It lets patients find homeopathy clinics and book appointments, and lets clinics manage appointments, tokens, case records, prescriptions and billing.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, mobile number, and optionally gender and date of birth.
- Appointments and visits you book or attend, and the token numbers issued to you.
- Clinical records (case notes, prescriptions, invoices) entered by the clinic you visit. The clinic decides what is recorded and is responsible for it; we store it securely on the clinic’s behalf.
- Technical data needed to run the service, such as a sign-in cookie and server logs.
How we use it
To create your account, book and manage appointments, show your live token status, send service emails (confirmations, invitations, password resets) and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing email.
Who can see it
Only the clinics you register or book with, and their authorised staff, can see your records at that clinic. Our service providers process data for us under contract: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage in the Mumbai region, India) and Amazon SES (email delivery).
Cookies and analytics
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in.
On our public pages only (home, clinic directory, clinic pages, booking and sign-in pages) we use Google Analytics to count visits and see how people find clinics. It sets cookies only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. Patient, appointment and clinic workspace pages are never sent to Google Analytics, and advertising features are turned off. You can change your choice at any time: .
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Clinical records are kept for as long as the clinic needs them under applicable law. Backups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile from Account. To access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, email info@octascaler.com. For records held by a clinic, we will pass your request to that clinic.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is limited by role, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and backups are kept in a private storage bucket.
